Allowance

In addition to personal belongings (handbags, laptops, cameras, umbrellas, etc.), passengers are allowed to carry on only 1 pieceof baggage.

  • Please make sure that your baggage is properly packed and taken care of.
  • Depending on the type of aircraft and size of storage space available, it may not always be possible to carry on even luggage that meets the above size and weight requirements.
  • Carry-on baggage should be packed by the customer such that it can be stored under the seat in front of you or in the overhead bins available in the aircraft cabin.

For your safety and comfort, we require all carry-on luggage to be stored in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of passenger. Leaving baggage in a place such as aisle or emergency exits hindering the evacuation is prohibited by law. Passenger seated directly behind seat or cabin separating walls are required to keep the area around their feet free of any baggage at all times.

After reports emerged of the lithium ion batteries used in Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones catching fire, the Civil Aviation Bureau of the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has made a request that airline passengers who have Galaxy Note 7 phones be advised to obey the following instructions:


・Do not switch on the phones when on board the plane.
・Do not charge the phones on planes.
・Do not pack the phones into any checked-in luggage.
