Easy ways to understand easyJet luggage rules

EasyJet is the most flown airlines in te Europe. It offers low cost and the luggage fee is not restrictive like many other airlines. The checked baggages, weight and claim are straightforward with easyJet airlines. Just to keep you in loop of what goes on with easyJet, it is appropriate that you get the rules that you are supposed to adhere to.

All passengers that want to book the airline are only allowed to carry one piece of hand baggage on board. That is if you want to avoid incurring other charges. The easyJet luggage size that you can to carry on the plane is 56 x 45 x 25 cm that is including the wheels and the handles. The cabin crew has no weight limit to this luggage.

If you want to have your luggage in the overboard bins then it has to meet the following dimension, 50 x 40 x 20 cm. You can store your laptop, purses and other minor luggage’s in the luggage cabin and they will be considered as one-piece by the company. However, if you bring more than the required weight, you have to pay a charge, that is easyJet airlines luggage fees.

You will have to restrict your carry-on to avoid huge expenses and in case that you come with your baby or child. Their luggage has to be included with the adults to avoid incurring expenses. You will also have to carry your child on your lap, if they have not been booked a seat.

There are several easyJet airlines rules that you have to know before making any booking. These rules stretch to what you should carry and the restricted items that you should avoid. The word liquid in the rules means that lipstick, creams used on the face or hands, and deodorants are put in the same category.

These are some of the items that restricted and if you must carry them, they must meet the following rules. Any liquid that you carry must be in a container that is 100ml and they must be stored in 1liter transparent bag that will allow proper screening. You are obligated to remove the liquids to the security personnel at the check point.

You are allowed to bring with you food but they are subject to be checked by the security before you proceed to the plane. The baggage allowance includes bags that are 20 kg with a maximum dimension of 273 cm that includes the height, width and length.

If you are travelling with your friends or family members, you can distribute your luggage weight to make the payment more modest. Although you will have to ensure that they all meet the required standard of the company, 20 kg.

You can also carry checked baggage such as sports equipment and you will be required to make a special pay to each equipment.

If your luggage happens to be lost or damaged in the course they are been transported, you stand to claim for the luggage and the company will be more than willing to compensate your money. Early last month easyJet changed its rule and decided to allow passengers booking for premium seats to have their luggage in the cabin.
