If you are going to travel with Qatar Airways you should know what kind of luggage is allowed and which are the restricted items so that you won’t have to pay additional fees or get your products thrown away.

If you are going to travel at the economy class, the maximum allowed size for the hand baggage is 50hx37lx25w (20x15x10 inches) and a maximum weight of 7 kg. In addition, you are allowed to carry on umbrella, one ladies handbag or small briefcase, on blanket/coat or cape, binoculars or a small camera, an infant’s carrying basket, one walking stick of a pair of crutches, some reading material and the items purchased from the duty free.

If you will fly at business of first class you the hand baggage has to respect the same policy as for the economy class, the only difference is that the weight of the luggage can be up to 15 kg.

For the checked baggage allowance, Qatar Airways allows 2 free pieces for the business and first class to and from Brazil and the have to be in the limits of 32 kg and 158 cm with handles and wheels. On the other hand, for the economy class the luggage must not exceed the weight of 23 kg/piece and the same 158 cm as dimensions. These policies are available for flights to and from Argentina, Canada and US. For flights between Casablanca and Doha the first and business class checked baggage allowance is for 60kg weight and 300 cm size, while for the economy class the maximum dimension can be 300 cm, but the weight can’t exceed 45 kg.
